A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY NEW BLOGGING BUDDIES.

I JUST WANT TO SEND A BIG HUG TO ALL MY NEW BLOG BUDDIES.
ALMOST FOUR YEARS AGO I LOST MY BEST BUDDY, MY MOM.
THE DAY I LOST HER I ALSO LOST MY PASSION, I LOST THE JOY
THAT I HAD FELT ALL MY LIFE. HOW DO YOU LIVE WITHOUT YOUR MOM? FOUR YEARS LATER I STILL CANNOT ANSWER THAT QUESTION. ONE DAY AT A TIME I GUESS.
I STILL FELT THE CREATIVE SIDE OF ME IN MY HEART BUT IT JUST COULD
NOT SEEM TO FIND ITS WAY TO THE SURFACE. WITHOUT JOY THERE IS NO CREATIVE SIDE. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES TO HAVE BEEN BORN WITH A CREATIVE SIDE YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I GUESS WE’RE LUCKY, SOME MAY CALL IT AN ADDICTION, OR A SICKNESS..LOL. I CALL IT A BLESSING.
SINCE I STARTED MY BLOG AND HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY ALL THE TALENT AND SUPPORT, I FEEL MY PASSION COMING BACK, AND I HAVE ALL OF YOU TO THANK. IT HAS BEEN A LONG ROAD BUT I BELIEVE BY SURROUNDING MYSELF WITH ALL OF YOU I HAVE FOUND MY WAY HOME. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

Debra, I so know what you mean. I lost my mom in October, 1999. So many years ago, yet I can still go back to that autumn day when she was gone forever. Then one year later I lost my best friend of 28 years...and, then, one year later I lost my dad. It took me until June, 2007, to regain that creative urge once again. So, I joined an online art group. Then, within one month, I lost my brother to diabetes. But, determined to use the art as therapy, I kept on with the art swaps. It really helped so much. I started blogging this last January. WOW!! What a door that opened to the world! We are all on a journey with so many classrooms. Losing those we love is certainly a sobering lesson. A big hug to you. You are a survivor, girl!!! Kudos!!! I'll visit again real soon. I want to take a long look at the Garden of Hope crop!
Hugs,
Marilyn
